Notifications Disappear with Clear View Case

Hi all,

Recently upgraded to the S9 and am using a clear view standing cover. All works great, except for the fact that after about 5 seconds after closing the case, the notifications from the always on display disappear.

The notifications are there on the always on display no problem when the case is open. However, after you close it and wait about 5 seconds, it seems to go into some kind of sleep where the display becomes fainter and it only shows the clock with no notifications at all.

Any ideas? Is this a limitation of the cover, or a setting?

Because the ClearView actually doesn't use the normal AOD (if it works the same way as the S8). It uses one specifically tied to the accessory.

Thanks for the quick answer. It certainly seems to be the same.

It'd be nice if they released support for the normal AOD. Any recommended way to feed that back to Samsung easily?
