Samsung S9 Phone Answering

Is there an app that will answer the call when I put the phone to my ear automatically? LG, HTC and others have had this for a long time.

I'd never seen one, but Auto Call Answer - Auto Ear Pickup should do it.

Go to Settings, Advanced Features, and toggle on Direct Call.

Direct call is contact specific. I want to answer the phone by putting it to my hear like most of the other phone manufacturers.

You mean like your phone is in your pocket, you hear it ring so you pick it up and put it to your ear and it answers? How would the phone know the difference between that and if you put it back in your pocket?

Haven't you had a phone with a proximity sensor that when you have a call you put it to your ear and it automatically answers? Most of the other manufacturers have had this for a long time. Samsung never has. A heck of a lot easier instead of putting your finger to the answer button.

The settings in the screenshot is the closest to what you want I can find in the os. There are probably apps to do it exactly how you want.
