I use the native Calendar app. Since the update to Pie my calendar doesn't show up. I can't see the grid, or date numbers. all I can see are the lines denoting that I saved something on that day. Here is what it looks like. Anyone else experiencing this? Or have a suggestion on how to fix it?

Swiping down doesn't help much. It does show me what event I have saved, but not the calendar itself with the grid and date and numbers.

    Anyone else with this issue?

Did you clear your cache partition and reboot after the update?

RESOLVED! It was the theme I was using. Although I have used that theme before something happened when I updated to Pie. Evidently at least some themes also need an update to work properly in Pie.

So my advice to others is if something if off or not working after Pie update, check your theme.

I had the same issue with the theme I was using. Picked another theme I could read and all is fine.

So what theme is actually working for you? I have tried a bunch and none of them makes my calendar readable.

You can always use the default theme.

I actually paid for another theme and it still isn't working! Also in my text messages, when I put my finger in a photo to save, share, delete, etc....all I see is the white box....I can't see the words giving the options! I also have ridiculous POP UPS on my phone and it randomly calls people I'm texting! This update SUCKS.

It doesn't matter what theme you use if that theme hasn't updated. It's not the update's fault. It's the fault of the theme developer for not updating his theme. Default theme works, as well as several ones made by MINU. You have to look for a theme that was updated January 2019 onwards.

Thank you SO much for posting this update!! I just got the system update this morning and have been so frustrated with the cartoon-y looking status icons and the calendar glitch. I changed themes and WHEW, back to normal!
