Verizon S9+ Battery Life After Pie

SO I got the PIE update and this whole "adaptive battery" thing. It seems my phone dies pretty quickly. Before PIE I had a good 12 hours, now I am lucky to get 8 to 9 before its red again

Is there a fix to this or is this now the standard?

It can take a week or two for adaptive battery to adapt to your use.

the battery on my phone after the pie update seems to last significantly longer. one thing that really helped was turning on the system-wide dark mode.

S9+ from Verizon and I have Pie. Battery life on my S9+ is great! I also agree with joemontana57....using the dark mode is a blessing.
