How add funds to my google books account?

I want to buy some books from the google books account, how do I do this? Where do I go to add funds?

Do you not have a normal Google Checkout account for the market? It needs to be linked to your Android gmail account. Buying books is the same as buying games. I bought one with no issues (here in the U.S.).

OK, how do I:

1. Get a google checkout account (I've never bought an app from the market)

2. How do I put funds into the google checkout account? (I don't want to save a credit card to the account as my son might then start buying games without even realizing it)

I forget my exact steps (I set it up going on two years ago), but I think you just need to go here and log in with your gmail account and follow the process. Then when you buy stuff, it's already linked to the gmail address on the device you are using.

Edit: Lo & Behold, Google Market now allows you to set a PIN so others can't buy things behind your back.
