About once a week both of our Tab 10.1 Pro's lose the ability to receive emails using POP3 protocol from Comcast email accounts. Contacting Samsung tech support indicated that i should tell Comcast to switch to IMAP (they said tbey would do that immediately for their millions of customers - NOT). The POP3 settings are still exactly correct in our tablets but are ignored by the tablets. While it only takes 3-4 minutes to delete the Comcast email accounts and put them back in, it is a royal PITA and a second tech support contact blamed Comcast. Our first generation Tab 10.1, iPad, 2 Galaxy phones, LG phone and two desktop computers have NEVER lost connectivity with Comcast POP3 email server. POP3 settings are correct.
Anyone have a fix for this issue or is it just another unfixable issue in this line of discontinued tablets.
Thanks,
MikeSp
