How can I get a reception with a supplementary SIM?

no recepion with suppelementary SIM

Just bought Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and have fitted a supplementary SIM: my mobile, beside this works perfectly. On the Tab S I first got NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK; now, uncertain whether I cured that or not, I get either one bar or a NO ENTRY sign on the status bar (while my mobile continues to show five bars......) What's wrong?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by a supplementary SIM card? Is this a card from your carrier connected with your current data plan?
