I have a LG phone with no SIM card and with prior T-Mobile service. I want to replace the SIM card and get a different carrier on the same phone. How do I do this?
If you had T-Mobile it had a SIM card, that's how T-Mobile has worked for many years. Depending on the carrier, you could get a SIM card from them and pop it in the phone. The phone may need to be unlocked by T-Mobile first, if it even has the bands to support the network you want to use it on.
And TMobile probably won't unlock it unless it's currently on their service, so it may cost you a month of monthly service to get it unlocked. (Unlocking services - you can find them on eBay - are a little cheaper.)
