I believe I have the same band (ordered from Amazon a while ago, don't remember the brand it was under).

It is nice, although it does cut down Bluetooth range of the phone.

i read about those issues before I got one, but so far I have not had an issue, although, it is pretty rare I do not have my phone on my person or relatively close

I have that band and am not having any issue with it. I like the band quite a bit and looks good with the watch.

I just noticed that with the silicone band, I could move around my entire work area and the watch would stay connected to my phone which usually sits at my workstation.

However, with the metal band, it disconnects in various locations. Certainly not a deal breaker, but I'd say it probably reduces the Bluetooth connectivity range by 20% at least.

Did you notice if it cut down on the Wi-Fi and Cellular range too?
