    In case you want to focus on developing native Android Apps, Android Studio is still the preferred option. In case you want to go cross platform and develop apps for both, Android and iOS, check out a cross-platform development kit like e.g. Xamarin / Visual Studio from Microsoft.

    For game development, you can also look at engines like Unity.
