Just updated wallet from the market an now its asking for root access any one else getting this also?

I just updated the app and started it up.
I did not get that request. I am not rooted so I did not expect to see it.
Are you rooted?

Just updated mine and opened it with no problems. No SU permissions request either....totally weird. :confused:

the new version of wallet checks for su acces and then warns you that it is unsupported. it still lets you use wallet but basically they are not liable if anything goes wrong. its asking for su to check if u have su.
 
I allowed it an it runs really slow an lags an with out it runs much better

Yup defiantly ask for su permissions. AKOP milestone 5. In my opinion by Google asking for su in one of it's apps they are supporting root users, even though that is totally not the case but hey if push comes to shove ever I'll be bringing this up :-)
 
My Google wallet just started asking for SU as soon as I applied a new theme. Has anyone else added themes when this problem started happening?
