Help: Duplicate text messages, i.e., same text message 2 to 4 times

Hi, for some reason I keep getting the same text message coming in multiple times. Sometime times they come in back to back and other time any where from one minutes later to 1 hour later. This happens even when I acknowledge the the first text, I still get this same text two or more times. How do I stop this. Is this a software issue or Sprint issue?

I have had the same problem ever since getting this phone, I believe it's a network issue. But it's definitely annoying.

There's nothing you can do about it. Its caused by dropoff. For whatever reason your phone maybe when travelling or sometimes just at a no reason nanosecond drop off of signal, your phone doesn't send the received reciept and you get the message again.
