LED Notification Light?

Looking at the hands-on photos from yesterday's event, I noticed what looks like a blue LED on the top right of the phone. It's on in some pictures and off in others. I'm hoping it's a notification light, but can't be sure... can anyone confirm either way? It looks like it might only be on when plugged in. I've also read that it might be an IR sensor.

99% I heard it was indeed an LED notification light Sprint is only carrier getting that, like on the Epic 4G last year. Out of all the Galaxy S1's last year, and Galaxy S2's this year, none of them had an LED light, except for Sprint
