The status bar icons is the Cobalt theme for Cyanogenmod9. Status bars cannot be themed or modified by a typical App or Launcher. You need to be rooted. In the case of Cyanogenmod, the T-Mobile theme engine is built in which makes theme changes a snap, and many themes can be downloaded right from the Play Store.

Jaywill---can you kindly expand a little more on modifying the status bar. You mentioned that they CANNOT be themed or modified with apps (Actually, i downloaded a status bar modifying type app and it lets you arrange icons, etc. but i didnt like the icons themselves...).
"You need to be rooted". RIght, I am. So how do I get neat-looking icons like the ones in your screenshot? Is that part of the Cyanogenmod9 ROM that you have loaded? Is that what you have loaded? If yes, once loaded, how do you modify the icons? Yes, a lot of questions, but I am sure once you explain it, a lot of us will yell a collective "Ohhhhhhhhhhh, ok"

If you flash cyanogen mod you can download themes from the play store that will theme the status bar and icons. His for instance, his is the cobalt theme.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Work and family has been keeping me really busy lately.

DEF3NDER is spot on. Cyanogenmod has the T-Mobile theme engine built into it, and with it, you can download full themes from the Play Store that will theme your status bar and application icons. Changing themes is as simple as downloading and selecting it. You can search "CM9 Themes" in the Play Store to see what's available. Some are free (like the one I use) and some are paid.

Nothing special, I have removed everything and now running stock. I love continuous change or I get very bored.

Though the one thing that I don't change too much is the home screen so that I have what I frequently access in one place!
