So I was playing with my buddies Droid to compare the phones and damn does the Nexus S screen blow it out of the water.

But my question is about the notifications from his drop down menu, it had the minus "-" symbol for each notification to be removed from the menu. Is there anything like this on the NS4G I REALLY want that guys.

That doesn't seem to be a stock feature of vanilla android; the only thing that would probably allow you to do that would be to root your device.

Rooting by itself won't enable you to do that, you need to find an app that implements such feature which seems to be part of Motoblur and not Android. That app may not even need root permision for it to work.

Having said that, I would also like that feature as it can be quite useful. Have you checked if it is available on any of the available 3rd party launcher apps? I have never used one so I don't know if it is.

Kinda but not really, I don't even know what to really search for in the market.

I know rooting itself doesn't allow that but it would probably allow for some sort of rom or something else that would be capable if an app for vanilla gb was unavailable.

Sorry, maybe it is part of the rom i'm running. I thought it was part of stock gingerbread. Swipe a notification left or right to clear it.
