Wallpaper keeps readjusting

Ever since I first got my s4 and changed the wallpaper it constantly repositions my wallpaper everytime I go to the home screen
The picture moves left or right or both ways exposing a black bar until it comes to rest back in it proper position

Should I exchange it as defective cause I'm also having issues where my battery lasts about 10 hrs with light to moderate use?

That doesn't sound like a defective device. It sounds like a software bug.

Ut no one seems to be having this problem should I just get a new device with a software issue then

I would try resetting the phone first to see if that helps. If not, I guess you can try to exchange it.
