I keep getting "failed to retrieve account info" when i try an upload a video?

I keep getting "failed to retrieve account info" when i try an upload a video?

I did this and it works:

1) Delete existing credentials via the process/application manager:
Settings - Applications - YouTube - Clear Data

2) Reset credentials from the YouTube application:
YouTube - my channel - instead of choosing the already configured "gmail.com" account select "add account" and then just enter the username without the "@gmail.com". Password is the same.

After doing this, I just selected the @youtube.com account instead of the @gmail.com at the upload screen and it worked fine.
