I did.

LOL I hate when they post like that... All they say is two or three words like they're actually helping someone.
I called in to cancel my account, talked to the customer service specialist, and she convinced me to stay by waiving the activation fee. I got my phone at best buy mobile.

I'll give that a try. Thanks. If I can get that, use my free gift card and get a price match I'll save like $136.

Just call AT&T and ask them very nicely if they can waive the activation fee. I have been able to do that on every single upgrade on every line. They may tell you that they can do it as a one time thing, but it has worked for me numerous times. If it does not work with one customer service rep; then call back later and try another one. Good luck.

Depends on how long you have to wait on hold to make saving $36 worth it. The sales rep at the Best Buy told me to call and ask to have the fee waived. Ill see how busy my day is the day my ATT bill comes in.
