Phone is at 67% since unplugged 22 hr ago. Screen on time 1.5 hr.

When not in use, there is literally no noticeable battery drain in 3 hrs.

This is quite different behavior than I first got it, at which time the battery drains 4-6%/hr even with background sync disabled and juice defender active.

What I did is to manually disable wifi when not in use, also stopped overcharging for prolonged period of time.

We shall see if this fabulous situation continuous with future charging cycles.

Once mine is done charging, I disconnect it. Removed from charge at 12am. Woke up at 6am and battery life is still at 100%. Wifi is on while sleeping. Awesome!

Between midnight and 7am data is disabled. It's an HTC thing.

Must just be a One X thing because my data stays on all night.. I work 3rd shift. 9pm - 5am... I use my data all night long

Maybe the phone registers being in sleep mode for a certain period of time, between 12a-7a, and automatically shuts off wifi/data.

Just a thought. First I've heard of it though.

Its definitely not a midnight-5AM event. Now it went through more than a day and about 2 hr screen on time (50% brightness).

The battery consumption during normal use is pretty normal, the really interesting part is that it literally seems to consume no battery at all when not in use (standby).

The only possible reason I can think of, is the disable of wifi manually when not in use.

I will keep monitoring and see how it behaves in next charging cycle, although I am still waiting for it to drop to 40% before charging it.

I think you are right about this.
My phone drops off of 3G and wifi every night around midnight. If i don't touch it it will stay that way till early morning.

If I wake it, it will turn on data again. (And I think it leaves it on).

I can still get text message with data off, but email won't be checked).

Mine is an international version, and i noticed this because a wifi bug would not let the phone re-connect to wifi once it was shut off, so every time I tried to use the phone after midnight I would see it reconnecting to 3G, and wifi needed manual intervention to reconnect. (Last update fixed the wifi bug.)

Where did you find those settings?
Been looking for those, because I remember seeing them somewhere.

They're hidden LoL.
Go download an app called Hidden Settings from the PS. You'll get access to two hidden menus: Power Settings and Roaming Guards.
