02 HTC ONE M7 asking for network pin code when putting vodafone sim card in.

My HTC ONE M7 IS on 02 network. I entered a Vodafone SIM card as I was told the phone was open. The phone is asking me for the network pin unlock code. How or where can I get this from? Can please someone help me .. thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know if it's asking for a code to unlock the phone from its original carrier (i.e., O2), or if it's asking for a SIM unlock PIN (i.e., a PIN specific to that SIM card)? If the former, then contact O2. If the latter, then contact Vodafone.
