Mine went down at about 6:00 PM and came back up 10 minutes ago.

I have to turn 4G off to make it though the day, how should I know.

I realized just how awesome 4G is when I was stuck on 3G for a little while. Man., I'm not sure if I could go back to non LTE speeds.

Mine went out (I did nothing to disconnect from 4G, just dropped to 3G) for about 30 min or so.

I came to the same conclusion exactly two days after buying the Thunderbolt back in March. The LTE network is a game changer (when it isn't down). There were several LTE outages shortly after the Thunderbolt launch but most were fixed pretty quickly. I never lost 4G on the Bionic (or the wife's TB) yesterday.

I'm glad to see posts about this. I thought there might be some kind of outage, but it also crossed my mind that I was being throttled, haha. 4G was out in Cincinnati from about 6pm yesterday until? ??? It's back this morning, though.

You might have lost signal to it. If you lost connection to LTE (for whatever reason) you couldn't get back on. If you stayed connected you could stay on.

I think its all resolved now. I flipped my extended battery in at about 10:30 and had no issues getting 4G and haven't since.

good to know it was an outage and not my phone. I was getting worried last night that the 4G wasnt working on my phone after reading all the post about 3g/3g issues from other users.

It was only out if you got disconnected from it. If you never disconnected from 4G then you kept it the entire time. If you disconnected you couldn't reconnect to 4G.

That is, by definition, not a 'national outage'.
