Just received an OTA update. 1.13.605.7-1.12.605.6

Would this be MR2 OTA?

I believe that is the previous OTA? I have the same software number and have not received latest OTA.

No that is the first OTA... it went from 1.12 to 1.13... to who knows what... but it sounds like the next OTA will not be until the 15th.

Well thats wonderful. My phone is 5 days old. I have checked for updates every day and this is the first one.

Yep. Weather says current location now. I guess random reboots will start shortly... Sigh

I have 1.13 on my device since day one of that OTA without any reboots that I did not perform myself.

Just hang in there. The rumored date is only a few days away. Hope you don't experience the random rebooting like many if has. Just went 29 hours with out a reboot then I go to check the time on my phone and presto! Reboot again LOL. It has happened so many times its comical. Of coarse it does get very annoying when you are on an important phone call and it reboots 5 times within a 10 minute period . Yes that happened to me last week. I keep telling my self "Patience young padawan...... patience"

the fact is the majority of us have not had problems with the MR1 update. But this is a tech forum and ppl tend to post more complaints/ problems then ppl how have none. the last poll that was up about the reboots if remember correctly showed the the majority had no reboot issues. 4 out of the 4 ppl i know that own thunderbolts have not had an issue with reboots as well, you will most likely be fine.

That is 53 versions later. Lots of fixes and things changing with this new release.

I bought 2 Tbolts. One for me and the other for the wife. I was the blessed one out of the update. The only good thing for me is that she works long daytime hours, so most of her reboots are missed. Anyways, good luck Lost. Tomorrow is just around the corner here in the east coast!

It should work with either updates, you should get a notification pop up on your screen. Some can get the update earlier by going to the software updates menu.

It's been a full day with MR1 and I can't complain too much. I've had only one reboot that I know of. It appears my 3g signal is not as good as it was, strength seems inconsistent. Initially, weather was showing current location, now it just says Georgia. Before MR1, I had accurate GPS lock on. Other than that its been fine. Hopefully, MR2 will pick me tomorrow.

I would not install it, unless you are having issues. I would just wait until the next big OTA, which is suppose to be on June 30th... check back here and continue checking back because it will be headlines if we get an OTA for the Thunderbolt... especially if it's Gingerbread.

How do i stop or delete it then?

I'd either keep deferring it, or there is one other option when it comes up, but I can't remember what it is besides accepting it.

yeah it looks like accept or defer are my only options...I will defer it for a few days and see if it goes away..
