I'm on At&t in California and got my HOX at the end of the first week. My software version currently reads 173.502.1 71Ord. Is this a pre update version?

I was stuck on 1.19 and never even got the 1.26 update. I just got fed up and rooted mine and installed a custom rom. You can force a update if one is available. You can go to the dealer type *#*#2432546#*#* but it never worked for me.

It never worked for you because you really can't force an update.

All that code does is checkin. That's what it spells on the keyboard.

But your phone checks in every day anyway.

You get your updated when your serial number comes up, and not before.
