10.0 inch car stereo head unit 10.0 android based

[Android Central Question]

This is a non branded Chinese double din stereo with a 10.0 inch display android

1. Their was a DAB radio app preinstalled. I installed a standard windshield antenna with a DAB adapter that plugs into a USB port. when I scan for stations it finds none Is there a way to test the antenna or a way to tell if its finding the USB port

2. The forward camera also is not found I used RCA connection and a USB camera either one did not work

3. Waze voice also doesn't work. The voice works for the phone

4. navigation app (Waze) drops the volume of any music, radio or Pandora etc. when announcing a navigation turn, but does not return the volume of the radio to preset volume then continues to drop the volume of the radio each time it announces a turn until you can no longer hear the radio

I think your best bet is to contact the retailer for support. Perhaps you installed it incorrectly or the unit is defective,. Either way, I don't think we can help much, sorry.

All I can say to this is good luck. These no name Android radios have a horrendous reputation all around, and I would recommend returning the unit for a full refund if possible. I've seen almost nothing but complaints from users, and the audio specs leave much to be desired.

Stick with name brand traditional radios from the big name companies like Pioneer, JVC, Sony, etc (though a traditional radios with Android Auto are fine).
