10 Months in.....Still Love It

I have a 2 XL, and love it. Best dang camera around, which is very important to me. If anything, the phone's performance has improved on Pie (primarily when it comes to the battery). I'm sure Google won't want to hear this, but I doubt I'll see any good reason to upgrade to the Pixel 3 or 3 XL.
I am in the same boat and have the same feelings. I see no reason for me to upgrade as well.
I'll be watching reliable reviewers and looking at the new Pixel 3 in the Verizon store.
Unless of course I lose all control during launch day and hit the order button. :p
I'll be watching the offers and deals. I have two reasons to upgrade, screen size and band 71 support.

I did, I went to Best buy three times before I bought the Pixel 2. I played with the Pixel 2, 2XL, V30, Note 8, S9 and S9+. While I can live with the software, as I have before ( had an S7 till about 14 months ago) the real issue for me is the hardware with the curved screen. I just don't like using it, I don't like the feel of the narrow edge. I want a flat screen. I counted the apps preloaded too, I got to 90 on the S9+ and finally just stopped because there was still a lot left. The Pixel 2 had like 23 at the time. I know the S9 has more features but that seems excessive.

Still, there's a part of me keeping an eye on note 9 deals.....

I just got the note 9, unbelievable device

What makes it unbelievable? Better than the Pixel 2? Do you still have the Pixel 2?

Man, got me thinking about it.

I love big phones. If the rumor is true about a 6.7" Pixel 3 XL, I'll be on it like a duck on a June bug. For me a phone is a pocket computer first and a phone second. I definitely don't try to use a phone with one hand and my thumb. I hold my phone with my left hand and my right index finger is my "mouse".

Would you keep your pixel or trade it in ?

My much better half, who couldn't care less about technology, would inherit my Pixel 2 XL.
All she wants is a phone that is reliable, easy to use, and has a good camera.
She likes the pictures I've taken and she likes the fingerprint sensor.
I know she will be pleased.

Me too on both accounts. I use my P2XL like a mini pc and hold in left hand. I have nerve damage in my right hand. So just use fingers for typing and scrolling. Hurts to hold my phone in my right hand.

One thing tho...it's a big device one hand is hard to operate it and I have larger then average hands
Yeah I held one the other day at the store. Definitely big and I used to love that but I've been gradually coming down. I love the size of my Pixel 2 but I do watch a fair amount of video on my phone so I'm considering going back up in size but IDK. I don't one hand very much so I'm still using it with two hands most of the time.

What a nice thing to do for your wife!

I'm the same, will give the P3 a look if it keeps the same dimensions but has an overall bigger screen.
