So I have a couple of questions about how the S10 + handles charging...
Will keeping the S10+ at 100 % while still plugged in shorten the lifespan of the battery
or device itself?
Will frequently connecting the S10+ to a charger shorten the life span of the battery
or device?
So far I have read many conflicting opinions and thoughts
on the subject, and I would simply like everyone's opinion on the subject.
Typically I am the type of person that plugs my phone in at night before I go to bed
and then take it off of the charger just before I leave the house
.
Additionally, if it is a work day, I typically plug my phone into a charger at my desk and unplug it only when I leave my desk for extended periods of time or at the end of the day.
Also when I drive to work or anywhere else, I plug my phone into my car charger. Mostly because I typically use Google Maps when I am driving, even if I know where I am going because of the realtime traffic information, which tends to us a lot of power.
The reason I am typically so fanicatical about plugging my phone into a charger every chance I get, so that over my history of owning smartphones, I typically only get a maximum of 6 to 8 hours or less on a single charge with moderate usage. And over the years it doesn't seem to matter what make or model of smartphone.
