Sending the pics (in post #40 of this thread) appears to have finally worked, as I got an email from AT&T Customer Service today stating that they would put a $100 credit on my bill (which they have already done). She said that she had called several different stores in Dallas and Austin and had heard about the $150-$250 range that I mentioned.
They made it sound like "since now understand the different pricing of our different sales channels, and [she saw] that have been a loyal AT&T customer," I had earned the one-time credit.
Whatever works, I guess...
