It looks as though Verizon were premature with their original Android 11 release for the Galaxy S20 series, at the beginning of December.

Original speculation was that they had jumped the gun and rolled out pre release Beta build as the, "Z" in the build number would indicate...

RP1A.200720.012.G981VSQU1ZTHK for the Galaxy S20
RP1A.200720.012.G986USQU1ZTKH for the Galaxy S20+
RP1A.200720.012.G988USQU1ZTKH for the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

These builds were reportedly suspended but now a newer updated build release is being issued. The new builds are...

G981VSQU1CTKH (S20)
G986USQU1CTKH (S20+)
G988USQU1CTKH (S20 Ultra).

(CTKH is the same build as the suspended T-Mobile (USA) release)

These releases should be hitting Verizon users devices, now.

Great information, and it makes sense. Does this apply to unlocked devices running VZW SIM cards too?

Um I got this software G986USQU1CTKH (S20+) when it was first released at the beginning of the month. Haven't had any updates since the begining of the month.

I got the update at the beginning of December but mine doesn't have the letter Z in it.

Oddly, I keep checking for updates manually this evening and it's not able to connect to the server to check. Usually, that may happen once, but then within a minute I can check again and it's able to confirm whether update is available or if I'm up to date.

That would explain why the Always On Display Clock Color Wheel and the feature to use an emojie as an AOD didn't show up in the one I downloaded yesterday. I have a Note 20 Ultra but the mistake was probably on that one too cause note users got it yesterday.
