1-first of all , delete routine , go to setting / apply power saving mode / before pressing apply ( unselect AOD ) ... than press apply .
2-remove power saving mode and back to optimized .
3-use routine now ( to apply 120hrz or 96hrz ) with power saving mode .

Awesome bro definitely worked that way thanks.

I'm using this hack and it seems to be helping with battery life. The one thing I noticed which I created a work around for is when you plug in your phone into your car and Android Auto is running and you are using either Waze or Google Maps the navigation will freeze up I'm assuming because the Medium power saving cuts off the GPS.

What I did was created a Bixby Routine where if a Bluetooth device is connected (my car) it will turn off Medium Power saving mode. Seeing how a wired Android Auto connection charges your phone anyway you don't need the device in Medium Power Saving mode to begin with.

Why just not use adaptive power saving on optimized which allows u to have 120hz while also saving some battery?

Because optimize doesn't save nearly the battery that medium power saving mode does. For me, this is something I don't run all the time, but for those times you still want smooth scrolling, but want to extend your battery life as well it's a nice hack.

Adaptive power mode also put your phone on medium power when phone doesnt need more power. Did i miss somethink here?

So if i understand on medium power u have 70%CPU and on optimise u have 100%, this is main difference. But what are those rutines that works smoooth on 70%, is that YT, browsing, FB...what about games like COD, it will still run smooth on 70%CPU or u must enable optimase to work normal?

You can adjust settings in medium power save mode if you like .

The hack allows you to run medium power saving mode and still use 120 Hz. Normally when it's switched from optimized or high, it automatically disables 120hz and goes back to 60hz. That's all the hack does. And I'm sure high powered games will not run as smoothly on medium.

I read a article little while ago that the Note 20 series doesn't disable 120hz even if your battery percentage is low , but the s20 series did .

I know that, im just wondering if its worth to use this 120hz trick, or its adaptive power mode better option. Must save some battery so im trying to find reserves.

Try it out see how it works for your usage.

Probably because it's adaptive and it's better optimized. That's good to know. But before finding this hack, putting it in medium automatically switches it to 60hz and grey's out the option to switch it back.

It makes sense in medium power saving mode to do that , but great find on your behalf

I just kept it simple and set up a Bixby Routine to switch to medium power saving when it hit 40%
I normally won't get that low anyway so I'll be running almost full power all the time

Just did this on my Ultra Note 20. I turned off 120 due to it eating the battery up, but this might compensate for it. Great post!
