128GB or 512GB - What U Getting?

i originally wanted the 512 gb, but after finding out that I might not get the phone until 9/5 and then going round and around with Tmobile, I finally said screw it and got the 128 gb..due to be delivered today..

And that's fine, I mean I still have enough storage on my note 8.

I went with the 128gb version. Here is my reasoning:
-I have not had any storage issue with my 64gb N8
-I usually store everything on my external card. (I also have copies of stored content off device)
-I am not interested in the associated cost of the larger capacity device.
-I do not like that if you need to do a hard reset of your device then you have to restore all content/data to the device.

My reasons for what they are worth.

I, too, went with the 128gb version mainly because I do fully expect to get the Note 10 which I would probably max out with the storage (and my bank account). I am an app hoarder so I need as much space as I can get, but going to hold off on the 512gb for now. I'm down to about 6gb on my Note 8 and the extra space would be great.

I just wish I was able to get it in black.

I went with the 128 GB model because T-Mobile was charging over $500 for the 512 model and I sure ain't paying that.

Remeber when the XBOX first got 500gb and everyone thought that was so much?

The phone uses almost 60gb out of the box. Memory isn't going to go as far as it use to with all the impoved graphics even basic apps are using now. By the end of fall when the new Pixel and iphone come out 512gb is going to be the new norm.

The Galaxy S10+ is most likely going to come with 1tb internal memory. Lol

If I could have walked out of AT&T last week with a 512gb I'd have gotten that. Do I need 512gb on a phone. Are you kidding? Of course not, but it'd have been nice. Instead I got the BOGO.

I think 512gb is over kill unless you plan on keeping your phone for more than 2yrs and take a lot of pics, videos and store music on your phone, plus most people use sd cards and everything is stored on them leaving the internal storage empty. If u do need more than 128gb you could buy a 256gb by Samsung for around $90-100 or another brand for cheaper and can take it out and use it in a future upgrade possibly next year or two

512gb is maybe a bit overkill for most people right now but with pics/vids taking up more and more storage with current flagships I just think for a few years that big internal storage will beat both the best sd cards and cloud options plus it ment a lot to Samsung to be First in market with a 1TB device, it is all about convenience and what you want right here right now

512GB. I don't need that much storage, but I want it. Plus the extra 2GB of RAM will be awesome. I just hope it doesn't kill the battery quicker. =/

PS: Get the Note 9 128gb Unlocked on Ebay and save big money, it costs 690 eur here!
