My phone works great on the TMO network, but in my TMO account, they think it's an iPhone 13 and I cannot figure out how to change it to the 13. Maybe there isn't a way to do this. Help is appreciated.

Hmm, that must be relatively new -- I've never experienced that, but it's been a while since I had to call them.

Are you able to go to a T-Mobile store and ask them there?

I change phones often mostly unlocked phones and they usually show up something that is not... but personally I pay no mind to it why does it matter? why do you want it to show up as a OnePlus 13?

I agree with shook187 -- for a long time, my Pixel phone showed up as "Unknown" in my account, but it still worked fine. It shows up correctly now, but I'm not sure why that happened.

It's not worth chasing. They can't and have never gotten it right. I tried for a year on and off and gave up.

One SIM in my S21U at the time was a S21 Ultra and the other iPhone. S22U, one was a S21U the other a Galaxy Fold.. S23U was a S23U and a Unknown.
Today my S25U is a S25U and S23U.

During the unknown stage is where I got annoyed but politely initiated ticket after ticket to get a different answer. Always was the same either we don't know or it's a technical glitch and will fix itself.

Don't chase the rabbit.

I agree if it's not branded mine are all unlocked they have wrong colors and it's definitely not worth chasing but you would have to call customer service if they can even change it without calling an engineer lol
Mine have been a mix of both. Before and after it started happening. Past 3 or 4 were/are carrier phones I dunno 🤷‍♂️ I just scrub the traffic on my PCs adblocker to not load the pictures so I don't OCD.

Well aren't I glad I left them then
Just like the insurance companies are sick and tired of people going to the ER for a cough and the sniffles phone companies are tired of people customer service for nonsense.

Yeah, it's a minor irritation, but I've generally had a good experience with T-Mobile over the past 10 years or so -- better (and cheaper) than my days with Verizon, and I hear too many bad things about AT&T in my area.
Oh I'm still using tmobile network but using Mint Mobile now..I was with tmobile for 10+ years, but that 180 for a year of service I couldn't pass up
