Anyone with the 16 gig version? If you're not a gamer or heavy into music or photos is 16 gigs sufficient?

I could get by with 500MB of storage. I really don't load much of anything my phone, just a couple of apps. All my music is in the cloud on Amazon.

I think so, I have 16GB and I'm a heavy user and have 8.5GB free. I have tons of Apps and Games not much on storing music on my phone since it all can be streamed and same as with movies. As for pictures I try not to keep that many on the phone and I have them all backed up to my dropbox and google ;)

Based upon your stated usage 16GB should be enough. The X will come with 11.88GB of usable storage. My phone still has 9.15GB available and that includes about 80 downloaded apps and maybe 200 pictures plus a few videos.

Everything is in the cloud now for me. What's left of the 16 is more than enough for me and I got all my music and movies etc in the cloud

Thanks everyone. Probably going to return the one and get the moto x then.

How many smartphones out there offer ONLY a $50 diff between 16GB and 32GB??

This... I would have gotten the 16gb version even coming from my 32gb Droid Maxx, but for just another $50 I figured it would pay off. With my 16gb nexus 4, though sufficient, I always found myself managing memory because I usually keep a few albums on my phone. With 32gb I can also carry a bunch of big games and never worry.

16gb works for me but I like to store several podcasts and some music on top of the usual apps and pics/vids so I bought a 32gb version custom made. I am too close to the limit and phones tend to be unhappy when you get too close to the limit on storage.
