16GB vs 32GB?

Hello! I've chosen to buy the Note 10.1 (2014) over the TabPRO with the help of SpookDroid but I have two pressing questions before I purchase anything tomorrow.

1) How much memory is available from the get-go when you first boot up a 16GB Note?

2) Is it better to buy a 32GB or just buy a 16GB and stick my own 32-64GB SD card in?

I own the GS4 Int'l Edition 16GB and I can only use ~8GB right from the start. I'm afraid of this happening again with a new Note. Any help is appreciated- thanks!

32! I bought the 16gb the first time and I think I had about 10GB from the start. Samsung is not upfront about what can be saved to the external SD card. Now Kitkat (or Google) has limited that even more. Definitely 32gb!

You can never have enough memory.... Get 32g .... Decide about SD cards later....

"Its better to have and not need, than to need and not have"....Go with the 32gb.

Amen to 32 !! I don't game much at all but I downloaded Asphalt 8 and it's almost 1.4gb... would have been crippling with 2 or 3 games on a 16gb tablet...

If your pocketbook will allow it, you gotta go with the 32GB. That way any card you stick in will simply be icing on the cake.

I have the 16 gig. Also 32 gig SD card. For my use its fine.
