I just bought the 1750 battery for my phone.put it in,turned phone off and plugged in charger.Woke up and turned phone on.Should have a complete charge?

Got in car, turned Pandora on and drove to work.Battery dropped to 1/2 life, wow.Stock was better.

About 5,stock battery on charger waited for green light and unplugged. Got in car to go home and turned Pandora on again.Arrived home, played 2 games of scrabble and battery just dropped touch.Cool?

Set phone on airplane mode and went to sleep.Woke up and played 4 games of scrabble and checked email.Battery dropped to half.

Humm, My stock wimpy battery lasted better then this. Do these extended batteries new a few charges before we see progress?

Where did you get the "1750 battery"?

If you mean the VZW 2750 mAh Extended battery, I've not experienced any issues with it.

perhaps he meant this one:
seidioonline.com

if the op wanted a little extra life, i would suggest the rezound 1620mah battery, it's only $20, and imo, better than aftermarket options, even if the aftermarket was rated at 1750 (though some would disagree with me).

Yes, the seidio battery is the one I got. Seidio is suppose to be the good ones,no? 2 1/2 hrs after
Unplugging battery is already 1/2 way. I'm really dissappointed , cause the stock battery performed better them this

Btw, it shows the display as being the biggest drain at 67%

I bought a Seidio months ago. I use the Battery Monitor Widget. The app has improved with time, and now can estimate the actual battery capacity. After a few cycles, the Seidio shows a capacity of around 1100maHr. The stock shows a capacity of almost 1400maHr.

Return it and buy the rezound battery. Will last much longer then stock.

Rezound battery much better!!!! Much better than stock or seidio. Been using for a month now. Completely different phone now.

I don't think the after market batteries are a good way to go. I tried it when I had the Incredible and am glad I didn't waste a lot of money for it. I won't use anything after market anymore. If it seems to be too good to be true, then most likely it is.

I have read this more than once

Isn't seidio the oem of batteries ? From my understanding the phone companies buy their phones from seidio ?

My Seidio 3200 mAh depletes fast. It only gives me a couple hours more than the stock battery. I don't get a full day but I'm a heavy user of 4g, music, podcast and Bluetooth.

Seidio is an after market product maker, not an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). HTC branded batteries would be OEM. Personally, I'd only recommend OEM batteries as their quality is unmatched by any after market product. :)

I'll have to look at that thread cause I just looked at the Verizon website and it shows that battery for 39.99 not 19.99

You have to make sure you are not signed into your account and after you add it to your cart it will show up for $19.99.

I bought an aftermarket extended battery with the battery cover. When I installed it, that was the longest week of my life. I gave my original battery and covery to my daughter (she has a BOLT also), I had to ask for it back. It didn't hold a signal 4g or 3g consistantly, despite me living in Silicon Valley.

I don't know if it was the battery itself or the cover. Someone on another thread posted something about the signal being weak....well, I can attest to that. As soon as I put my old battery back in and cover.....not any issues other than Verizon going out last week.

So, when it comes to batteries and covers, I will stick to 100% OEM.

I have a 2750 from Verizon. Big honking battery and still my phone doesn't hold a charge all day. I'm not a heavy user at all. Pretty disappointing. I've had it for months and it's never lasted me a whole day.
