1st month with Android...the info never ends...

Hello everyone. I have been reading all I can and still feel like I could read a whole nother week and I LOVE IT!!!

Ok, so I have the Lg Optimus S LS670. I have had it a month or so, but have just started learning about rooting, launchers and themes...

I originally went online to find a way to rid my phone of this incredibly annoying pop up. It happens in messaging (Tried getting Go Launcher and Go SMS Pro, to no avail), it's a tip screen that says 'Hidden'word on it. there has to be a way to turn this off.

If i can turn that off, I may just be ok without rooting for now...who knows lol

Isn't that a swype message? Just follow the instructions it tells you to reveal that word you accidentally hid.

Welcome to AC! The pop up is a swype message. Try going to settings>language & keyboards>swype settings and uncheck enable tip indicator and see if that works for you.
