2.2 and hot spot

So after I applied the leak 2.2 update I seem to be getting hot spot. My question is, was it always or did I get it from the update that I did. Also would sprint know if i'm using it?

Is it 3g or 4g hotspot? I don't think Sprint would find out due to them not knowing what you using you data for.

I believe this update was supposed to get rid of the free 4g hotspot glitch. Maybe another reason for pulling it hmmm.....

If your WiFi is ON and you tether....it works. If you are on 3g or 4g only....my tether did NOT work with 2.1 (I don't pay for hotspot) I haven't installed group yet...so I dunno about that. Now....why is need to tether if I have WiFi is beyond me....I spose that is why they allow it. I know for a fact that there will be no free tether or hotbot with print and froyo so don't bother dreaming.
