2.2 and I'm missing keyboards?

I just got my captivate a couple of days ago and im really happy with the phone. Normally i would use the swype keyboard just because I've become pretty fast at it but its still nice every now and then to go back to my iphone days and use a normal qwerty keyboard. I hate the samsung one and with froyo my android keyboard has all but disappeared. Any ideas?

Search over at xda, there's a method to reinstall the missing keyboard there.
