2.2 Help

Alright guys I know I'm a little late and I am tired of being patient. Okay so I was rooted and got pushed the 2.2 update so I tried to deny it and did then accidently hit "install now" so it attempted to install and said unsuccessful. So I unrooted hoping to get it repushed to my phone. And I waited and waited and still have yet to get it so at this point would it be easier for me to just wait for 2.3? And if I can push it how? If I can't push it but should install it can someone help me find the files to update it with?

What I ended up doing was installing a custom ROM that already had the update included in it. If you like Sense then I would go with Virtuous... it's the closest to stock that I have seen and I really like it. If you download ROM Manager (free) from the market it makes flashing the ROM easy as can be.
