XDA did it again...

Camera is Almost working...

Still no MMS but its a pretty complete build...

No LED indicators... and Quadrant is getting a lower score...

Yea Initial Boot takes a while... Stick with it...

Personally its okay... Im too lazy to set everything up like i want...

and I have a Novatec Screen so no easy FPS fix for me...

No he fixed the Camera...

Lower FPS because of this but Camera is allllll good...

FPS: Average 46

Check out the post... I was holding off because of this no Camera issue...

Im doing a Nand Backup now and I'll Flash the Kernel right after...

ya I used it for half of the day today and ended up going back to fresh, I just can't justify not having MMS and Visual Voicemail, but it is definatelly faster, can't wait for fresh to release a 2.2 rom where everything is working.

Does anyone know if there is a Froyo 2.2 rom for the evo without sense. I want pretty much the stock vanilla nexus rom on the Evo. Any help would be appriciated.

this is confusing can somoene explain what the difference is between Undervolted kernel v5.1.1 for use with 2.1 (Eclair) ROMs and the Normal-volted kernel v5.1.1 for use with 2.1 (Eclair) ROMs

Evolution Roms are Vanilla Froyo Roms... No Cam no MMS and other krap...

Can you link to the post that says he fixed it? I have been following both threads and it seems that kernel doesn't work with the 2.2 sense rom. It works with other froyo roms but not that one.

I was in stock with that...

Only thing is it breaks WiFi so I flashed back down


UPDATE: The Novatec Kernel does have everything working...

I Previously Stated Wifi breaks but that was me being stupid...

You need to Flash the WIFI-N .zip he has listed and all is good...

Im Running the Undervolted Kernel getting around 46fps running 1.19GHZ at 8.9 MFlops...

Works Great

has it made the homescreen swiping smooth? The thing I hate about the EVO is the unsmooth swiping!!

Also, does a wiimote work with froyo?
