2.3.3 for Droid X bricked my phone

I updated my Droid X OTA and it now appears to be bricked...has this happened to anyone else?

The phone boots up then freezes, only way to restart is to pull the battery.

not the brick but I waited for the update..it went fine...love it cept for 1 thing and i need help with it..the sync icon that would come up for gmail etc is stuck up on the notification bar. it looks like my gmail is syncing all the time, but it isnt.
anyone know how do I get this to go away?

yes this happened to me i hate to tell you but you have to do a factory update... i even called verizon and the girl attempted to walk me through a reset however she didnt know what she was doing but I found good instruction on the motorola page after much frustration... I got mine all done but now my email wont sync :-(
