so I just received mine. here are some first 2 days observations for what they are worth:
  • software - I have been using the nexus line exclusively until the high priced pixel came out. I have to say that the essential is super clean to the point you will not notice a difference. only Oreo is missing. I have not experienced any freezes, glitches etc YET. hopefully it will stay that way. yes, its not the fastest phone, yes, there are some super minor issues when scrolling but they are negligent and probably fixable via updates. also, I got all the monthly but fixes OTA as advertised... thats a plus.
  • design - its a stunner, one of the best looking phones ever. not much to say here
  • speakerphone - only one down-firing but its very very loud even to the point of distortion, I find myself lowering the volume of the speakerphone time after time...
  • build - while its a super premium build 2 things bother me. the first is the charging port. its hard to explain but it allows the USBC charging cable to be inserted in many angles that are not good. only one angle will go through to the end and the rest will probably harm the port. I did not have this in my 6P. the second is the finger print reader. this is a minor issue but its bottom edge is not flush with the back while the upper edge is. I am not sure its by design or not but its odd. you can feel the difference it with your finger
  • touch sensitivity - yes, some touches will not register especially near the edges of the screen but to be honest its not a deal breaker and it sound a lot more troubling that it really is in the day to day work.
  • camera - its avg plus maybe. camera centric users would probably not be so happy

Thanks for the review. I'm still on the fence whether to buy this phone or not. The software issues are what's bothering me. I hate scrolling jank and slowdowns. Seems unacceptable on a phone with these specs. I really wish they would drop Oreo to see it this helps.

I got my white one last week. No carrier yet, I'll probably be using US Mobile (verizon mvno) sim. I'm still selecting the apps to put on it to make it behave like I need it. Also, ordered 2 different protectors (skins), screen films, extra chargers, and a USB3 cable. Plan on tossing my Galaxy S4 (off contract) soon as I get my new sim and try it and make sure mobile data behaves like I need it to. I may or may not put a new verizon sim in the phone. I also may or may not move to Germany, in which case of course I say byebye to Verizon for about 5 years.
I'm interested in hearing from others who have the PH1 what they're doing to their PH1's, accessories they're using, etc.

[/LIST]

I set my touch sensitivity to "High" under Settings->Accessibility->Talkback->Setting->Gesture->Tap Detector Sensitivity.

See if it works out for you.
