2 Questions: Need a case and rooting instructions.

So I bought the Tab 2 and so far, so good! I like the 7" as opposed to its larger sibling. I got a great deal on it. It was an "open box" from Best Buy which saved me $70 off MSRP (only missing the instruction manual). But now I need a case. Office Depot wants $60 and other places seem to be about the same price. I'd rather not order online cause I like to try the product first, but it's not out of the question.

Second, I'd like to root this bad boy. I'm having trouble coming across any solid instructions and wondered if anyone here has rooted theirs successfully. If so, can you please share the link?

For $20 it is a very nice case. If you check the sellers other items they have it in a few other colors. I bought the Green one. It is very good quality, has the clip on the back to stand it up, and the front of the cover is magnetic so it closes and does not flop back open. It uses a tab that folds around and tucks in behind the Tab with velcro keeping it securely in the case, other cases just have a flap you tuck in and trust me they do not stay in place very well. Also if you are set on getting one at a brick and mortar store then also look at cases for the Tab Plus as they will also fit the Tab 2. The only thing is you will have a larger camera cut out because the Plus has a flash.
