1. yesterday i uninstalled touch wiz launcher (thanks ragnarokx, kevin and nosquid). i used SDX Stock App Remover. do i have to move all TW apps to data first? do i have to replace the app i am moving (ie. twcolck)with a replacement?

2. now that touch wiz is gone and adw the only launcher installed, can i sync my contacts to facebook again or is that gone forever?

It was always my understanding that touchwiz was needed for contacts syncing with facebook which is why I've always kept it. I like the integration of twitter and facebook in contacts.

By the way, not sure on your first question. I've always just used the build your own rom for sonofskywalker3's blackhole rom so i leave out what I want from the beginning.

I believe your thinking is right though. Rename and move. You dont need to replace.

As long as you aren't using touch wiz, does it affect performance? I'm using adw but still have the default launcher installed.

it really does I'm prove performance. It was a good move as far as I'm concerned. As far as face book is concerned, I only use it for castle age so I don't care if it works or not.
