2 screens to answer phone call

On my Samsung S8, I have have to swipe through 2 screens to answer my call. Then there is a pop up ad after the call. Is anyone else experiencing TV with same issue? I would add a screen shot on here if I can uploaded.

Are you using the stock phone dialer, or a third party dialer?

That looks like something a 3rd party app would throw up, or some kind of special carrier weirdness. Do you have an app for special edge lighting/notification?

Have you tried scanning your phone with Malwarebytes?
Do you ever install apps thru allowing Unknown Sources?

Not everything on Google Store is 100% free of adware behavior..

yea, you have something installed that is doing that. Th screenshot you shared is not even the stock dialer on the GS8.

Next time that screen pops up you could see what's listed under 'running services'. Not sure where this option is available on the S8, but most likely you'd need to enable the Developer Options first.

I want to say it is the theme you are using. Just looking at the second photo with the missed call I can see the camera app and it is not the stock app icon. Try reverting back to the stock theme and see if this persists.

I had the same problem. Fixed issue with backup data, factory reset, and restore.

I had the exact same screen and really annoying. Found a 3rd party app called flashlight was the culprit.
Removed this and now works properly.

I deleted this same app from a customers phone for the same reason. it overlays its own call window but the buttons dont do anything, you still need to answer the phone legit.
