2 week Update, G7 Thinq Battery Life

I have had my G7 for almost 2 weeks now, and I just wanted to drop in and say, I absolutely love everything about this device. It operates so smoothly, and the battery life has blown me away so far for a 3000mah battery. I was a bit worried how it was going to be at first, but it seems like it keeps getting stronger with each day of use. I would say it has mostly to do with the efficient 845 processor. The screen shot I have included is from today, from about 11am until about 9:50pm or so, and I have played games, streamed Fox News Live for an hour or so, Emails, EBay app, and used Chrome for most of the day. I did go in and disable most of the apps that I don't ever use, and this is an "Unlocked" version, so it didn't have the carriers bloatware installed to begin with, and being indoors all day, I had my screen set to 40%. I did NOT have the "Battery Saver" on though. I will try it with it turned on next, just to compare the difference. Anyway, I'm more than pleased so far, with everything about this phone.... I'm starting to believe it is highly underrated. I hope others are enjoying their G7 as much as I am....

Wow, 8 hours SOT is amazing. I have my screen set to 40% all the time as well and I usually get around 4 hours SOT. Mine is a T-mobile phone and has some T-Mobile applications installed + it doubles as my work phone so its checking multiple e-mail accounts, etc. I do find that standby battery is far better than I ever saw on my old Moto Z Force. Overall I'm loving the G7.

Awesome! I ran it today with the "Extended" Battery Saver mode turned ON, and I used it in the same exact manner as yesterday, and it has helped even more. I will post a screen shot of the battery usage here in the next hour or so, after it gets a bit closer down towards 0% battery left, and we will see where it ends up

Here is how the battery did today with the "Extended Battery Saver" ON. Everything else was exactly the same as above.... This is from about 9:00am until about 9:40pm today. I am very very pleased...

What does the Battery Saver Mode do? I get about 4 hours SOT with out using it.

I'm unsure of everything it does, but I do know it keeps Apps from running in the background unless you give each one permission to do so.

Trying battery saver to see if there is any lag. But I wish there was a way the remove the notification
