This is what Gemini suggests

Here's how to find the battery drainer:

Check Battery Usage Stats:
* Go to Settings > Battery.
* You'll see a list of apps and their battery usage.
* Look for apps with unusually high usage, especially overnight.

Use Battery Saver:
* Enable Battery Saver in Settings > Battery.
* This limits background activity and can help pinpoint problematic apps.

Check for App Updates:
* Make sure all your apps are up-to-date.
* Outdated apps can sometimes cause battery drain.

Restart Your Phone:
* A simple restart can sometimes fix temporary glitches that cause battery drain.

Factory Reset (Last Resort):
* If nothing else works, you can try a factory reset.
* Back up your data first as this will erase everything on your phone.

Good idea. I had a live chat with Gemini. I told her the Google app seemed to be sucking the most battery power. She suggested clearing the cache and perhaps user data so I'll give that a try and see what happens

Well looks like it must have been the Google app as it was much better last night after I deleted the cache and user data and restarted the app. Might have been even better if I hadn't had Alexa playing me sleep sounds all night.

Glad you got it worked out. I drive so much that my phones are always charged, its rare when I plug it in at home. Plus since I replace them every year longevity of the Battery isn't something I care about either. My favorite nephew said the Pixel 5 I gave him 2 years ago works great but the battery is worn out. I'll send him something new.
