$200 trade-in with 2 year contracts

They did everything right there. Total for the 64gb was 222 after tax, not including the activation fee, which I might call to get waived due to this entire fiasco.

Im trying to keep my unlimited data and get the trade in...bestbuy and Verizon store told me it only applies to the new contract or if i change my plan...I was going to buy it with full price if I can get the $200 trade in. anybody had any luck on this situation?
