I have a Galaxy s7 with the latest version of android 6, I have just paid for a genuine SanDisk ultra microSDXC UHS-I Card (200gb as I know its compatible with my phone! however my s7 does not even detect it, ive tried reformatting the sd, my pc recognises it and I tried copying my old sd card (32gb) onto the new card but when its in the phone its as good as invisible! please help as its just a expensive useless piece of plastic if it cant do the one thing I purchased it for!

do you still have the packaging? i have a SanDisk UHS I 200GB unit working flawlessly in my S7 Active, per amazon...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5269282

that is what i purchased and have installed. Works as external SD and also worked just fine as adopted storage. What did you format it as? As in NTFS, FAT/FAT32, exFAT, etc.

Did you format on your PC (i would assume so if S7 wont read it); the format type could be the issue, or you could have a faulty SD card or phone (probably faulty SD card if your phone reads your old 32GB unit just fine).

Thanks for the reply yes I have the original packaging and its the same as the one on the amazon link you linked and was purchased from a reputable seller online as I'm aware of the fakes that are doing the rounds! ive tried everything, I put it in the phone fresh out of the packaging and nothing so I couldn't even format it in the phone as it cant see it, my pc reformatted it in every way possible still nothing however my cheap android tablet see's it and I even formatted that way but my s7 still see's nothing! frustrating as I spent £55 buying it, I'm emailing both Sandisk and Samsung but I think they wont know any better either failing that I'm sending it back to sandisk so they can see if its a duff card! Ive just found a 128gb Samsung card that didn't want to work with my old s5 but my s7 likes it!. The only reason I got the 200gb card is that I like maxing my stuff as far it can go!
cheers again for your input!
ALL THE BEST
BEN
