2013 N7 w/ SuperSU - Don't understand it, just want Lollipop.

About a month ago I bought a Nexus 7 off Swappa with SuperSU installed. Everything seemed normal when adding all my accounts, which I assume is the point. But now I want to upgrade to Lollipop and I'm not sure if SuperSU is affecting it some how. I understand the basic idea of rooting, but I didn't install SuperSU and have never once interacted with it since I got the Nexus 7.

I tried going on the XDA forums for SuperSU, but don't really understand any of it and probably wouldn't be successfully with any manual attempt to update to Android Lollipop. Is there a way I can go about uninstalling SuperSU and going back to the stock, unrooted version of the Nexus7 so that I can get the update?

Take a look at Wug's Toolkit. A very easy to use up program that takes a lot of the guess work out of flashing Roms etc on a Nexus device. I just used it yo unlock my boot loader and flash the 5.0 ROM all in the same application. Only tricky part sometimes is the drivers and be a pain sometimes.
