2100mah battery

I would rather have to carry an extra battery then have on big ugly extended battery IMO. Currently on my Bolt I have an extended which I never use and an extra Seidio which I only use if I know I won't be around a charger for over 12+ hours. I have no issue with an extra battery it usually just sits in my car until needed however it would be nice to have a stock battery last 16+ hours.

I'll be happy with a toggle to turn off LTE. I think I'll only need LTE speeds rarely, like the occasional photo or video upload to G+, or downloading a podcast (which I normally listen to online in Google Reader).

The Thunderbolt is 14mm thick as it is, so even if the Galaxy Nexus is 11mm thick (Engadget thinks that's really thick apparently if you look at their HTC Vivid review), I won't mind as long as it has a 2100mah battery. My guess is that even with the bigger battery, the LTE version will probably be less than 10mm.

I would like a battery that will last me all day, without ever having to turn off 4g. Once you're used to that speed 3g just doesn't cut it for me anymore.

If the LTE version has a 2100mah battery, the GSM version may not have any advantage at all in terms of battery life. There was rumor that the LTE version would only be 100mah larger than the GSM version (which will be 1750mah), but if it's 350mah larger, the LTE version may actually have an advantage.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Why doesn't someone just email Samsung and report "an error." Surely there is a webmaster or someone who could make the change on the site.

Could be a sneaky way for us to get confirmation of sorts. They call it the Nexus Prime on the Samsung site, so that alone shows that either they are still using an internal naming scheme or that entire page is incorrect.

EDIT: Sent an "error" report. haha. Let's see what happens.

I do. Any LTE devices using 1750maH are an older hardware revision or GSM.

Adrynalyne, I am confused? While I would be shocked if they put a 2100 mah battery in there. How does the prototype battery equate to the production battery? Is it possible that they felt like it needed a 2100 mah battery. You would have to think it would put the phone more inline with the non lte phone in regards to battery life.

The phone was already changed to fit the 1850...I really doubt it was changed again for 2100.

You guys are going off a sticker and an image. I am going off of info from people who use it. If they tell me, hey, we got a battery upgrade and a new device...then I will believe it. Until then, its a waiting game for all of us. Can I be wrong via my source? Sure. hasn't happened yet though.

That said, I feel reasonably certain that folks could check other info droppers and confirm it themselves that 2100 is a pipe dream, and the latest LTE is 1850...

I meant phone prototype. I believe what you are saying is correct. I also was just questioning what you meant. You basically said, it will be 1850 because the prototype phones had a 1750 mah battery. The only way that would make sense if there were some info saying that the production model will have a 100 mah larger battery. Not saying you are wrong at all, just wanted to know your reasoning.

No. What I said was, if the battery reported in the Nexus out there is 1750, it is either GSM, or an older hardware revision for LTE. That implies that testers for LTE have seen more than one hardware revision (which is what I meant). Sorry for any confusion.
